Terms of Use (EULA)
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your use of the BookingLounge mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by Andi Oliver Ion PFA, a sole proprietorship (Persoană Fizică Autorizată) established in Romania, operating under the “BookingLounge” brand (the “Provider”, “we”, “us”). Contact: andioliverion@gmail.com.
2. The Service
BookingLounge is a booking tool for small service businesses. A business owner runs a single shop, defines services, availability and booking rules, and manages their own clients. Clients join a shop using its identifier to request and manage appointments. The Service helps coordinate bookings; it is not a marketplace and does not introduce clients to businesses they do not already know.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- The Service is intended for businesses and their adult clients; it is not directed to children.
4. Owner responsibilities
- You are responsible for your shop content, services, prices, schedule and the appointments you manage.
- You are responsible for your relationship with your own clients, including obtaining any consent required to record and process their information, and for honouring the bookings you accept.
- You must use the Service lawfully and not upload content you do not have the right to use.
5. Client use
As a client, you may request bookings, request cancellations where allowed, accept or decline reschedule proposals, and view the shop you have joined. The owner controls access, availability and booking rules and may approve, decline, restrict or remove your access to their shop.
6. Plans, subscriptions and payments
- BookingLounge offers a Free tier and a paid Pro tier for owners. Plan limits and features may change over time.
- Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
- We may grant complimentary Pro access at our discretion. Complimentary access may be changed or withdrawn.
- Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Subscriptions are for owners paying for use of BookingLounge. The Service does not process payments between owners and their clients.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking the law; infringing others’ rights; uploading unlawful, harmful or offensive content; attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or using it to send spam or harass others.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you provide (such as shop information and media). You grant us a limited licence to host, store and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for your content and may remove it, or delete your account, at any time.
9. Account and data deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion permanently removes your account and associated data as described in the Privacy Policy. This cannot be undone.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for the conduct of owners or clients, or for arrangements made between them.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply.
